Most Frequently Used Acupressure Points

What Are the Most Frequently Used Acupressure Points?

There are total 361 acupressure points (some ancient books might record a bit differently, such as 365). All the acupressure points are listed below by its meridian channel. While every acupuncture/acupressure point has its own function, some points have similar and smaller effect comparing with others.   The highlighted acupressure points are deemed most effective and frequently used by good acupuncturists. -(please come back often as more of the acupressure points descriptions are being added …)

Treatment Indication of Each Acupressure Point:

The treatment indication of each acupressure point in the individual link is just the general function description of the acupressure point itself, without much explanation.  In reality, which point or points to select will depend on the specific TCM diagnosis for a particular health problem.  For example, coughing.  There are so many points that can treat coughing, which one to choose if it’s dry coughing without any sputum, or coughing with profuse white sputum, or cough with yellow sputum, or cough with blood, etc.   The causes for each one of the them is different.  So the point selection or herbal formula will be very different too.   I will try to incorporate the detailed explanation of the points in my posts or remedies.
